We’re collectively driven to work together on big ideas to solve the financial challenges for millions of hard working Americans everyday.

Branch in Action: Our Practices & Principles

At Branch we value a diversity of opinions and working styles, but there are three practices we try to collectively put in action. As a group, we:

Aim for Innovation

We encourage everyone to THINK BIG because the right idea can come from anywhere. Instead of following the crowd, we aren’t afraid to try new things and be the first of our kind to do something.

Take Initiative

We move fast because we believe good ideas are worth setting into motion and testing quickly. This action-oriented approach is crucial to all that we do.

Win Together

We prioritize team success over individual glory, knowing that making our customers happy is the ultimate collective accomplishment. Collaboration is key.

Great work can happen from any location📍

At Branch, our employees call many different places home. Our remote-first culture means we value:

  • Transparency. Honest, asynchronous communication is a part of each day.
  • Support. Bonding across teams is crucial so we can support one another and continue to grow.
  • Trust. Remote work gives people with the autonomy to shape their days in the way that’s most productive for them
Our individual differences make us stronger together

We’re intent on creating an environment where diversity is the default, because different backgrounds and experiences help us learn and work better. We do this by:

  • Having hiring practices that prioritize diversity
  • Encouraging people to bring their authentic selves to work
  • Not shying away from tough conversations; constantly seeking to better understand experiences that are different from our own.
The collective wellbeing of our community matters

We built Branch on the basis of inclusion—the belief that everyone deserves access to technology and financial services to improve their lives. Our dedication to giving is an extension of that belief.

Some of the causes we’ve given to include:

  • Hack the Gap
  • Serving Those Serving
  • Off Their Plate
  • Lake Street Council
  • Hamline Midway Coalition
We look for each new hire to raise the bar

Through our competitive pay and health and dental package, we’re equipped to invest in talent. When hiring, we look for:

  • High performers with high character
  • Self-awareness and self-motivation
  • A willingness to bring their unique strengths to the group
